St. Elmo’s Fire (Jeff Jones) “St. Elmo’s Fire” CD review in Metal Rendezvous Magazine
Another band from L.A. I presume?. In any case St. Elmos Fire sends us one of the most promising first albums that a band can have. Good compositions, good singer and a very good guitarist.
Simply all it takes for a happening group. In addition the album is gifted with a good sound, nice and heavy, just how we like it!
JEFF JONES launches into killer solos not filled with hammer-ons but is is the voice of singer ZANE LAZAR who reminds me of a young Klaus Meine, even more so on the ballad “More Than the Air”. The more I listen to this record the more I tell myself it is a good one. Do not pass it up!
